Best Body Sunscreen
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion Mineral SPF 60+ Sunscreen ($50)
"Shiseido never, and I mean never, misses with its SPF formulas, and the newest Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion Mineral SPF 60+ Sunscreen is no different. If you dread putting on sunscreen, you need to try this formula. It blends into the skin with minimal effort and feels ultra-hydrating — more like a lightweight moisturizer than a mineral sunscreen." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Brightening Pads
iS clinical Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System ($120)
"I have been so obsessed with peel pads lately and iS Clinical just launched what might be my new favorite. It's a two-step system that involves an exfoliating formulation as step one and then a neutralizing pad to hydrate and soothe. These have been perfect for keeping my face blemish-free and helping take off my fake tan." — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Moisturizer
Blue Lagoon BL+ The Cream Light ($245)
"If you like rich moisturizers but need to swap to something lighter in the summertime out of necessity, the Blue Lagoon BL+ The Cream Light will scratch that itch for you while also being totally suitable for the warmer temps. The formula is loaded with amazing ingredients: mineral and silica-rich Blue Lagoon seawater, which is packed with electrolytes, the brand's microalgae complex to help with fine lines, ceramides for hydration and lipids, squalane and hyaluronic acid for moisture, and niacinamide to strengthen the skin's barrier. It feels so luxurious to apply. I've been using it every night before bed." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Chemical Sunscreen
"Just in time for summer, Youth to the People launched its first-ever SPF, the Youthscreen SPF 60. I love that it's affordable and sits perfectly under makeup. If you're into an all-over dewy look, even for summer, like I am, this is the base layer you need to start with. It's also packed with skin-care ingredients like vitamin E to help reverse the visible signs of sun damage, and dandelion root that helps smooth the skin all over." — Brittany Leitner, contributing beauty writer

Best Calming Serum
Exponent Calm Revival Green Tea and Reservatrol Power Serum ($98)
"I'm prone to redness in my cheeks, and while it gives me a natural blush (at least, that's what everyone tells me), I'm always trying to temper it. Exponent just created a new calming serum with green tea, resveratrol, and hyaluronic acid to address redness and dry skin, and it's quickly become a mainstay in my routine. The packaging and application process is super interesting; it comes in two parts. First, you stamp the powder into your hand, then add a pump of the hyaluronic acid serum, mix, and apply. The system is what helps ensure maximum potency and efficacy." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Face Balm
Timebeam Moisture Melt Serum Balm ($38)
"Timebeam is a new brand created by Dr. Lamees Hamdan, an Integrative Medical Doctor and longevity expert. The brand launched with a handful of topical and ingestible products, but the Moisture Melt Serum Balm is a personal favorite. Think of it as a thick, ultra-restorative serum that comes in an easy-to-apply stick applicator. The formula is packed with ceramides for the skin's barrier, resveratrol for antioxidants, squalane for hydration, and calendula and chamomile to soothe. The product also utilizes aromatherapy by scenting the product with lavender and chamomile to help you channel all of the relaxing vibes while you apply it." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Facial Peel
Manuela Picard Red Carpet Ready Vitamin C Peel ($110)
"Croatian facialist Manuela Picard launched her skin-care line in the U.S. The stand-out product for me is the Red Carpet Ready Vitamin C Peel, which makes skin look revived in between facial appointments. I love that you can put it on for five minutes or 20 minutes, depending on your needs, and the amount of time you have to spend on skin care. It begins as a scrub and then turns into a rich lather when it's time to rinse it off. I swear I look instantly brighter each time I use it." — Brittany Leitner, contributing beauty writer

Best Face Mist
Flutter Habit Hype Girl Hypochlorous Acid Lash & Skin Spray ($18)
"Ever since I learned about the antibacterial power of hypochlorous acid for fighting acne, I use it every night after cleansing my face before completing the rest of my routine. There are a handful on the market and while many are great, you can't beat the price of this one. The spray bottle allows you to apply it easily to your entire face or body — wherever you want to soothe redness and prevent breakouts." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Mineral Sunscreen
Saltyface Sun Shield Mineral Sunscreen ($42)
"I'm not a huge fan of wearing sunscreen, even though I know it's totally necessary. I do it — I do — just reluctantly. However, Saltyface's new mineral sunscreen might just change my mind about the product altogether. It's SPF 30 and made with ingredients my skin loves like hyaluronic acid, squalane, and green tea. Plus, it's water and sweat-resistant, so it lasts me even during ocean dips. (I promise I reapply, don't worry.)" — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Lip Gloss
Glow Recipe Glass Balm Lip Treatment ($22)
"I am a firm believe that you can never have too many lip glosses and balms, so I was more than happy to add Glow Recipe's new Glass Balm Lip Treatment to my rotation. The formula is perfect — shiny, pigmented, and hydrating but not sticky. It comes in four shades: Ice Bingsoo, a clear; Watermelon Bingsoo, a sheer soft pink; Strawberry Bingsoo, a sheer pinky-red; and Blackberry Bingsoo, a sheer berry. It's hard to pick a favorite because they'er all os flattering and beautiful but I've been reaching for Watermelon Bingsoo nonstop right now." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor.

Best SPF Blush Stick
Naked Sundays SPF 50 GlowBalm Mineral Peptide Stick ($28)
"As someone who doesn't rely on applying too much blush, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed using this hybrid balm stick from Naked Sundays. After completing my go-to complexion routine, I proceeded to swipe the stick onto my face, and the formula felt super lightweight. I'm usually cautious when it comes to layering products since I have normal-to-oily skin, but once I swiped it a few times, it brought about a naturally glowy dimension. This product nourished my skin while making me shine, as makeup products can be harsh on bare skin at times. And though it's a sunscreen, it didn't leave that dreaded white cast — only a dewy, matte finish." — Naomi Parris, assistant shop editor

Best Lip Liner
Westman Atelier Lip Shape Lip Liner ($34)
"I've been on the hunt for the perfect lip liner, and Westman Atelier just dropped a serious contender. The brand's Lip Shape Lip Liner comes in eight different shades, all with a creamy formula that glides across the lips without pulling or tugging. My two favorites are Biscuit and Coucou, but I'm drooling over the entire range." — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Blush
Kylie Cosmetics Hybrid Blush ($22)
"I don't know if you've noticed, but powder blush is back. Yes, cream is still king in my book, but powdery formulas like the new Kylie Cosmetics Hybrid Blush will have you rethinking everything. This is a powder-to-cream formula, meaning it looks and acts like a powder at first, but it melts into the skin for a soft, silky finish like cream. It has a matte finish and is ultra-pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The shade Cheeky Mood is my favorite, but it comes in eight shades total." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Face Sticks
Make Up For Ever Artist Color Crayon Waterproof Multi-Use Stick ($33)
"Recently, I've been obsessed with these Artist Color Crayons that seemingly do it all. Available in 24 different shades — and in natural or shimmering finishes — these sticks can be used as blush, eyeshadow, contour, bronzer, highlighter, and in a pinch, as lip liner too. Make Up For Ever's multi-use sticks are waterproof and long-lasting, and I personally can't wait to bring a few on my next trip to cut down the number of liquid products I bring in my carry-on." — Alida Araica, newsletter manager

Best Curling Mascara
e.l.f. Cosmetics Incredi-Curl Mascara ($8)
"My current favorite mascara is only $8. Yes, you read that right. The new e.l.f. Cosmetics Incredi-Curl Mascara is the brand's latest curling and volumizing formula on the market and it's so, so good. The curved, soft-bristle wand grabs your lashes for a fluttery, lifted look without any clumps. It's smudge and flake-resistant but comes off easily when you wash your face and can be layered on for high drama." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Lip Balm With SPF
Supergoop Glow Gloss SPF 40 Lip Balm ($22)
"I tried this new lightly-tinted gloss from Supergoop while on vacation, and it kept my lips looking juicy and hydrated, but most importantly, protected from the sun. And thanks to its fun flavor offerings — Vanilla Soft Serve, Pink Peppermint, and Strawberry Spritz — this one doesn't taste like sunscreen, unlike other SPF lip products." — Alida Araica, newsletter manager

Best Hair Mask
Briogeo Superfoods Acai + Passionfruit Lightweight, Hydrating Hair Mask for Fine Hair ($39)
"If I didn't know any better, I'd grab a spoon and dive into this mask — it smells that good. But, of course, you don't want to actually do that. What you do want to do is use this in the shower once a week to give your hair a little boost. The formula is made for fine to medium hair, which is a dream for me as someone who falls in the former category. It contains acai extract and passionfruit oil for moisture and shine, as well as niacinamide to soften ends. I'm obsessed." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Leave-In Conditioner
Crown Affair The Leave-In Conditioner x D.S. & Durga ($48)
"Whether I'm air drying or blowing out my hair, I can always count on it being a little frizzy. But a good leave-in conditioner like this one helps detangle and tame my unruly strands. It also acts as a natural heat protectant that moisturizes and strengthens hair. This limited edition version of Crown Affair's best-selling leave-in conditioner has become one of my favorites because it comes in D.S. & Durga's dreamy I Don't Know What fragrance. The woody amber perfume has notes of bergamot essence, vetiver acetate, and ambrox super." — Alida Araica, newsletter manager

Best Hairspray
Dae Sunsetter Strong Hold Flexible Hairspray ($30)
"I have to be honest: I'm not a big hairspray person. As someone with very fine hair, I find it to be a little too heavy and stiff for my hair most of the time. However, I know that I need it to help prolong my style, so I usually just suck it up. That's why I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried the new Dae Sunsetter Strong Hold Flexible Hairspray. It has a strong but lightweight, touchably soft hold that's suitable for all hair types and densities. It helps cut down on frizz, lock in my waves, and add volume without making my hair feel knotted when I go to brush it." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Bath Soak
Flewd Anxiety Destroying Soak ($23 for 3)
"Typically, I would identify as an active bath avoider — something about being a New Yorker who's only lived in pre-war buildings, where sitting your bare butt in a tub means sharing that intimate moment with hundreds of people before you — but the Flewd soaks may have changed me. It all started at a recent staycation at the Greenwich Hotel. The bathroom looked like something out of an art deco museum and I knew I couldn't leave without getting in the bath. It was late; I had been stressed and not sleeping well all week. I immediately reached for the brand's Anxiety Destroying Soak and tossed the full bag-worth into the tub of warm water. I only steeped for 10 minutes, but when I say I fell asleep within .2 seconds of stepping out, it would still be underselling it. I have no idea if it was the magnesium and zinc-packed formula or the fact that I was enveloped in the scent of fresh laundry in a flower shop, but I was out all night and woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world. (Yes, I have since bleached my bathtub at home and have already gone through the Fatigue Defeating Soak, out June 19, and Anti-Stress Soak. The magic works every time.)" — Kelsey Castañon, editor in cheif

Best Body Wash
By Rosie Jane Wake Body Wash ($20)
"I'm picky when it comes to body wash, but this one from By Rosie Jane was an instant winner. The eucalyptus, grapefruit, and lemon scent is the perfect thing to get my senses firing in the morning, especially when I'm running on low sleep. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and soft as ever." — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Anti-Odorant Pads
Surface Deep's Anti-Odorant Pads ($29)
"I've used natural deodorant for years now, and while finding a formula that actually works for you is key, doing an armpit detox or using a chemical exfoliant every once in a while is super helpful. The new Surface Deep's Anti-Odorant Pads are pre-soaked glycolic acid pads formulated by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Alicia Zalka. They help cut down on odor, reduce discoloration, and prevent ingrown hairs. I use them in the morning or at night by simply wiping them over my armpits before I put on my deodorant." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Body Kit
Biotyspa Body Spa Kit ($89)
"I recently tested out the Biotyspa Body Kit for the very first time, and I was sold immediately. I love taking long, hot, luxurious showers, and this kit seems like it was made just for me. It comes with an exfoliating glove and shower gel for the perfect in-shower experience, and then you can top everything off with the included hydrating lotion. Who needs to go to a spa when you can recreate the experience at home?" — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Body Scrub
Tree Hut Tangerine Pre-Shave Foaming Polish ($13)
"Tree Hut always has the best scents and I've long been a fan of its body scrubs. The brand recently added a new product to its lineup, pre-shave foaming polishes, and the tangerine scent is summer in a bottle. The formula contains refined sugar crystals and lactic acid for gentle exfoliation, leaving your skin feeling soft and prepped to help you get a closer shave (though I also just use it as a regular body exfoliant)." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Quick Dry Top Coat
Côte Beauty Quick Dry Top Coat ($21)
"Summer is almost here, which means it's officially time for me to take a break from gel manicures. I'm obsessed with Côte's Quick Dry Top Coat because not only does it leave my nails looking ultra-shiny, but it has strengthening ingredients so I can feel good about swiping it on multiple times a week." — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Fruity Candle
Glasshouse Fragrances Mocktail Meditation Salted Cucamelon & Starfruit Candle ($60)
"Glasshouse Fragrances always makes the most beautiful candles, from the unique scents to the jars that they come in. The Mocktail Meditation Salted Cucamelon & Starfruit Candle is new for summer, and I already started burning it less than 12 hours after taking it out of the box. It has notes of green grass, star fruit, melon, and cucamelon, which makes it bright and sweet, while notes like sea salt, musk, cedar, white woods, amber help balance it out." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Floral Candle
Trudon Summer Haze Candle ($140)
"This isn't your grandma's floral candle. Trudon's limited-edition Summer Haze Candle was created by perfumer Alexandra Carlin and is described as a 'gourmand floral berry.' It has notes of Lily of the Valley, rose, musk, and Tonka bean for a juicy but fresh scent. The bright pink vessel also adds a beautiful pop of color to my room for summer." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor
