Best Hydrating Moisturizer
Mother Science Molecular Genesis Barrier Repair Moisturizer ($68)
"If you've ever imagined what a cloud might feel like on your skin — pillowy soft, lush with moisture, comforting beyond words — then know that the Mother Science delivers exactly that. It features a dreamy mixture of hydrating squalane and pigment-reducing malassezin (you can read more about that ingredient here), which really just means your face will be in heaven when you wake up." — Kelsey Castañon, senior content director

Best SPF
Murad Superactive Moisturizer SPF 50: Hydrating ($49)
"It may be winter, but I've spent the last couple of weekends at the beach here in Los Angeles, which means it's time to lather on the SPF. I've been obsessed with Murad's latest moisturizer line because all of the options have SPF 50. The hydrating option is my favorite because I have super dry skin, and I love that it doesn't leave a white cast or pill underneath makeup." — Renee Rodriguez, staff writer and social producer

Best Face Wash
Farmacy Green Clean Gentle Creamy Cleanser ($32)
"As a long-time fan of the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm, I was excited to try this new creamy cleanser from the brand. It has a thick, comforting texture that works into a nice sudsy lather when it comes into contact with water, melting away dirt and makeup. It's packed with antioxidant-rich moringa, upcycled apple and oats to soothe and hydrate, and vitamin F to fortify the skin's barrier. It's just what my dry skin needs right now." — Jessica Harrington, senior beauty editor

Best Moisturizer For Acne-Prone Skin
Saltyface Daily Moisturizer ($40)
"My current favorite self-tanner brand, Saltyface, just launched a moisturizer, and to say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I have acne-prone skin, and this product has been great for keeping my skin hydrated without breaking me out. Plus, it pairs perfectly with the brand's tanning water, which I use weekly to keep my skin looking flawless." — RR

Best LED Mask
Shark CryoGlow LED Mask ($350)
"I've used my fair share of LED masks over the years, so when I first heard Shark Beauty was releasing its own version, I figured it'd be more of the same. Boy, was I wrong. Shark's CryoGlow is the smartest LED mask I've tried thus far. It contains high-energy, tri-wick LEDs in blue, red, and deep-penetrating infrared light along with cryo technology in the undereye area that can be used during every LED treatment or on its own. The four preset treatments built in have you covered no matter what your skin goals are; my personal favorites are the anti-aging regimen and the acne-fighting regimen. Having used this mask for over a month now, I can confirm it's worth every penny." — JH

Best Eye Cream
Sonage A-Eye Peptide Serum ($58)
"I was able to try an early sample of Sonage's new peptide eye serum, and I immediately fell in love after just one use. It has a cryo rollerball applicator, which makes putting it on like having a mini spa day at home. It helps reduce puffiness and improve circulation, and it makes my under eye area look better immediately." — RR

Best Serum
Paula's Choice Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster ($59)
"If you want to take a break from retinol but don't feel like breaking up with anti-aging products, you'll like the Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster serum from Paula's Choice. The sensitive skin-friendly treatment has six pro-collagen peptides that help firm the skin and smooth wrinkles over time — and the best part is that it can be used at night and during the day (with SPF, of course). It also works on its own or when added to your favorite serum or moisturizer. In my case, that's the Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer that pairs nicely with the gel-like serum." — Alida Araica, newsletter manager

Best Drugstore Lip Oil
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Tinted Lip Oil ($16)
"The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Oil kept my lips so hydrated and glossy while on a recent ski trip in Aspen, which is no easy feat considering it's very dry and cold there. It's packed with hyaluronic acid and has a thick, non-tacky finish that coats lips in moisture without feeling sticky. I think I'm addicted to how plump and shiny it makes them because I can't stop reapplying it." — JH

Best Foundation With SPF
Hourglass Illusion Luminous Glow Foundation SPF 30 ($58)
"Your favorite influencer's favorite skin tint just got a major upgrade, and it's good. Say hello, to the Hourglass Illusion Luminous Glow Foundation SPF 30, the perfect lightweight foundation for the days when you want a no makeup, makeup look with added sun protection. This has been my go-to product for the daytime, especially beach days when I need a little extra coverage." — RR

Best Concealer
Tarte Shape Tape Blur Stick Concealer ($29, available March 6)
"I used to shout my love for the original Tarte Shape Tape Concealer from every proverbial mountain top I could find. Over time, though, I swapped the full-coverage formula for lighter options on the market, until all of a sudden I stopped using it entirely. Now, I've met the latest iteration that might bring me back home: the stick version. This creamy tube of magic practically erases my every breakout, dark spot, and redness, but feels light as a feather on the skin. Mountain top, if you can hear me, this stuff is the shit." — KC

Best Skin Tint
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Skin Tint ($36)
"I was never a huge fan of skin tints until Milk Makeup released one. Like its other products, this tint lives up to the hype. Not only is it the perfect shade match for my skin (I usually have to mix multiple shades), but it's extremely hydrating and long-lasting. The coverage isn't super prominent, but it's just right for the natural-looking makeup I love to do." — Naomi Parris, part-time associate editor, Shop

Best Mascara
Mary Kay Great Heights Mascara ($18)
"The look of the Mary Kay Great Heights Mascara is like your natural lashes, but so much better. The lengthening formula extends and lifts without clumping or weighing your lashes down, even after multiple coats. The brush is also worth applauding — it has a curved shape with tiny stiff bristles that coat each individual lash in pigment. You don't have to worry about flakes or smudges because it stays put until you're ready to wash it off at the end of the day. It's become my go-to mascara for everyday wear." — JH

Best Foundation
Lawless Forget The Filler Skin Plumping, Line Smoothing Foundation ($43)
"If you're looking for a full-coverage foundation that's also vegan and clean, allow me to introduce you to the Lawless Forget the Filler Skin-Plumping Foundation. The formula is lightweight, but it offers the best full coverage that blurs and smooths the skin at the same time. It feels silky smooth and will leave your face looking like your skin, but way, way better." — RR

Best Plumping Lip Gloss
Make Up For Ever Super Boost Lip Gloss ($26)
"If you love a good lip combo, you need this gloss. Make Up For Ever's new Super Boost Lip Gloss is moisturizing, makes lips look juicy and plump, and is available in the shades Anywhere Caffeine and Wherever Walnut — two of the brand's most popular lip liner shades. So, for once, you don't have to second guess whether your gloss and liner look good together. I will note that the gloss does leave a minty, tingling sensation — which is something to consider if you have sensitive lips." — AA

Best Lip Pencil
Hard Candy Lip Blur ($7)
"Want to get the look of the Rhode Lip Contours but don't want to spend the money? The Hard Candy Lip Blur lip liner gives you a similar look for less. I'm obsessed with the shade Smitten, which is a nude that goes perfectly with my natural lip color. I like to layer these with a shiny lip gloss." — RR

Best Makeup Device
BoldHue Foundation Device ($295)
"In case you've had difficulty finding the perfect foundation shade, consider this device your official goodbye to those troubles. Regardless of your skin type, this gadget creates your specific shade through a simple process. With the help of an app, you scan your face, and using five pigments (blue, black, red, yellow, and white), the device creates a week's worth of foundation just for you. I've never experienced a more seamless blend from my foundation." — NP

Best Blush
Saie SuperSuede Baked Powder Blush ($28)
"As much as I love blush, I wouldn't say that I'm a huge powder girl. I used to be, but then I made the switch to cream formulas, and I was pretty set on never going back. However, the new Saie SuperSuede Baked Powder Blush is here to change all of that. This baked formula has the look and feel of a traditional powder, but it's so much more hydrating and creamy. The formula is packed with squalane, glycerin, and hyaluronic acid to give it a smooth, moisturizing finish that doesn't cling to texture or dry spots. The pigment is ultra-saturated, yet soft and easy to diffuse, and it stays put all day long." — JH

Best Lip Liner
Refy Lip Sculpt ($26)
"Refy just reformulated their best-selling lip liner, Lip Sculpt, and it's easily snagged a permanent spot in my makeup bag, and my purse, and my car, and my . . . you get it. It's the perfect product for a precise lip look that will last all night. Plus, they launched two new shades, Oat and Suede, which are both amazing neutrals that go with everything." — RR

Best Dry Shampoo
Nexxus Advanced Flexx Adapt Dry Shampoo ($16)
"I am painfully, annoyingly, excruciatingly picky about my dry shampoo, which means I've tried about a gazillion different formulas but somehow always go back to my go-to (Klorane). This one from Nexxus, however, is about as close to perfect as it gets: it absorbs quickly, sops up even the gnarliest fourth-day oil, and never leaves a white residue." — KC

Best Thermal Brush
BondiBoost Infrared Heated Thermal Long Barrel Brush ($110)
"BondiBoost just launched a long-barrel version of their best-selling hot round brush, and I'm obsessed. The infrared technology is great for gently heating hair but giving it a smooth look at the same time. I've tested both sizes and I love how easy the long barrel works with my medium-length hair. This is my favorite tool for a quick look that cuts down on frizz. Bouncy blowouts for everyone!" — RR

Best Shine Spray
Tresemme Lacquer Shine Spray, Golden Vanilla & Sandalwood Scent ($13)
"I never really understood the point of a shine spray until I got my hands on the Tresemme Lacquer Shine Spray. Whether I'm wearing my hair blown out or naturally wavy, the spray formula makes it easy to apply without disrupting my style and is an easy way to boost shine without weighing my ends down with oil or heavy formulas. Plus, the vanilla and sandalwood fragrance smells heavenly and makes my day-two hair smell freshly washed." — JH

Best Hair Dryer
T3 Aire IQ Dryer ($400)
"I've been using this dryer for almost a month and it's easily become one of my favorite and most-used hair tools. This dryer is lightweight and extremely user-friendly. I love that I can input my hair texture and the dryer customizes the right settings for my specific type. The dryer stand was also a nice surprise when I opened the box. I'm always shoving hair tools into drawers in my bathroom, so it was great to be able to display it in a chic and manageable way on top of my bathroom counter." — RR

Best Texturizing Spray
Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Finish Spray ($10)
"For people with finer hair textures (ahem, raises hand), this texturizing spray from Not Your Mother's makes a good case for inflation: mist it all-over or spritz right at the roots, scrunch with your fingers, and watch as your hair reaches new heights. Even better? It simultaneously zaps oil and adds grit, all while smelling like a subtropical vacation where piña coladas are definitely involved." — KC

Best Bonnet
SleepyTie Luxe Bonnet ($27)
"I recently learned from Sydney Sweeney's hairstylist that sleeping with a silk bonnet is an absolute must if you want healthy hair. The problem? It's been hard to find one that's actually comfortable. SleepyTie recently launched a new bonnet, and it's been the only one I've found that I can comfortably sleep through the night while wearing." — RR

Best Body Moisturizer
Tula Barrier Balance Ceramide Body Moisturizer ($32)
"I'm very picky when it comes to my body moisturizers. I don't exactly enjoy the act of standing there naked, post-shower, shivering while I slather myself, so the formula has to be good. What are my qualifications, you ask? Well, it has to smell nice, be nongreasy, and instantly absorb into my skin. If I have to sit there buffing in circular motions to make the thick white residue go away, I don't want it. So when I say I'm obsessed with the new Tula Barrier Balance Ceramide Body Moisturizer, you can trust me. The first time I dipped my fingers into this extra large tub, I was immediately taken with the thick, ultra-rich texture (perfect for my dry winter skin), but what really knocked my socks off was how fast it blended into my wet skin. Now, I look forward to putting it on every night after my shower." — JH

Best Body Scrub
Iota Supermochi Body Exfoliator+ ($39)
"I'm not typically a fan of body scrubs since the granules in sugar scrubs dissolve quickly and I'd need to use a lot to exfoliate well, but that's not the case with the Supermochi Body Exfoliator+. Iota's body scrub is made with Balinese sea salt, Korean red bean, and sweet rice, which don't immediately melt on wet skin and give you a chance to really get in there and scrub dead skin away. It's worth noting that this scrub is not abrasive though — it has a unique mochi-like texture that then transforms into a milk that hydrates the skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, and has become the best new addition to my everything shower. Oh, and if you love gourmand perfumes (ahem, fragrances that smell good enough to eat), you'll love how this smells." — AA
