DashPass costs $9.99 per month or $96 per year, but you'll make that up in savings if you order just once or twice a month.
Fortunately, if $10 a month or $100 a year is too much for you to stomach, there are ways to get DashPass for free.
1. Free DashPass with T-Mobile
Despite a brief controversy in which customers wrongly received an email stating that this perk was ending, some T-Mobile customers can still get free DashPass. As the company explains, you have 30 days to redeem after you join an Experience plan.

2. Free DashPass with a Chase card
If you have a Chase credit card, including Sapphire, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, or Ink Business Preferred, you might be eligible to get free DashPass. How long depends on which card you have. According to Chase, some cards get you free DashPass through the end of 2027, some get six months free, and some get a free year.

If you're a new DashPass user, you can get three months free by linking your Lyft account to DoorDash. You'll also get monthly ride discounts and priority pickup upgrades.
