Amazon Kindle Scribe With the Premium Pen Just Dropped Nearly $100, Cheaper Than Black Friday

Let’s be real. I don’t need to spend time selling you on what’s beneficial about a Kindle, yeah? Now of course, some of us love the feeling of a physical copy in our hands to flip through and then even keep on our shelves once we’re done. Though, there is no ignoring the obvious convenience and practicality to something like an Amazon Kindle. The ability to store thousands of books to take with you on a plane or to the park speaks for itself. Though one issue with the standard digital book reader is it’s not exactly great to be starting at a backlit screen all day, plus no amount of backlit can compete with the glare of the sun shining down on it. The Kindle Paperwhite solved that with its enhanced screen. However, the Kindle Scribe takes that even further by adding in a Premium Pen for annotations and other writing — now 19% off at Amazon.

Read and Write Anywhere

The Kindle Scribe has a flush-front design with a 300 ppi glare-free 10.2-inch display. It looks like real paper, even under bright light like from the sun. So if you like to read out on the beach or your porch on a bright, sunny day, you can actually do that comfortably with this version of the Kindle. The screen has an adjustable warm light and auto-adjusting front light, which makes it viable to read during day or night.

No need to worry about and accidents with your Kindle Scribe at the beach or by the pool. It’s waterproof with an IPX8 rating, so it’s able to withstand up immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to an hours and up to a quarter meter of seawater for up to three minutes.

The Kindle Scribe includes the Premium Pen which has a customizable shortcut button and a soft-tipped eraser that writes naturally with no lag. The pen just works, requiring no charging or setup at all, allowing you to write directly on the book page and create space for your notes using Active Canvas.
