Paulini Curuenavuli has spoken out after sparking engagement rumours.
The Australian Idol star stepped out wearing a diamond ring last month, with chatter rife that she and her boyfriend, who she has never named, are set to wed.
While the 42-year-old would not confirm of deny the rumours, she told Confidential on Sunday that she is 'happily in a relationship'.
'I don't really talk about it,' the fiercely private singer added, continuing to keep the details of her romantic life close to her chest.
Paulini had flashed a huge diamond on her left hand wedding finger as she attended a film premiere with her friend Heath Keating in Sydney last month.
She looked stylish in tight beige trousers and a matching top but it was the dazzling accessory on her hand that turned heads.

The sighting came after Paulini shared a rare photo with her boyfriend to Instagram as they celebrated Christmas together.
Little is known about Paulini's man, who she didn't tag in her social media post.
The singer confirmed her romance in 2022, telling Daily Mail Australia at the time she's happily in love.
'Yes I am so loved up,' she said before letting out a cheeky giggle.
'It's always great to be in a relationship, it's important to find someone who is going to support you and someone that you can share things with,' she added.
In 2023, the singer said she couldn't be happier while appearing on Dancing With The Stars.
'He's the big handsome guy cheering me on in the audience, basically my bodyguard. I'm very happy,' she told Woman's Day magazine.

She was just 21 at the time, and had chosen to perform her song in a show-stopping gold dress.
In the shocking episode, Dicko told Paulini to 'choose more appropriate clothing and shed some pounds', prompting a wave of outrage.
'When Dicko made that comment it was kind of like a wake-up call' she told Daily Mail Australia recently.
'What he said to me was hurtful, it made me think, the music industry is about every aspect of your life'.
'You've gotta look after yourself physically and you've got to make sure you look good,' she continued.
Although twenty years has passed since that fateful night, the singer admits her confidence took a lengthy blow that took a long time to recover from.
However, Paulini went on to explain that after reaching her milestone 40th birthday in October 2022, she is now more confident than ever.
In the candid essay in 2018, published by The Daily Telegraph, Paulini detailed her struggles with Domestic Violence, low self-esteem and a failed record deal.
'I went through a very traumatic breakup from a tumultuous relationship I am embarrassed to say this was not the first relationship I had been in involving domestic violence and low self-esteem,' she wrote.
'In addition to the breakdown of my relationship, my failed album release had cost me my savings and the relationship with the record label.'
Claiming that she was on the brink of homelessness, she revealed that she was forced to move in with her parents despite having financially supported them throughout her career.
'I was at an all-time low in my career where my confidence and finances were equally bleak … I was at rock bottom and couldn't see a way through it,' she wrote.
