Charli XCX shows off her incredible figure in a skimpy black bikini as she hits the beach in Byron Bay during Australian tour

Charli XCX is making the most of the last of Australia's summer weather. 

The Brat singer is on tour Down Under and took some time out of her packed schedule to enjoy one of the country's finest beaches. 

The 32-year-old went for a dip with friends in Byron Bay, the A-list enclave known for housing the mansions of superstars such as Chris Hemsworth.

Charli appeared to have a ball at the NSW seaside town, hitting the waves for a swim with friends. 

The pop star made her way down to the beach on Monday in between gigs with the Laneway Festival. 

For her relaxed day out, the British singer wore a skimpy black string bikini that put her gym-honed figure on display.  

She appeared to go makeup free for the swim, and wore her brunette locks down around her face. 

Charli kept things simple, skipping the accessories but for a bangle worn on one wrist. 

Surrounded by pals, she laughed and chatted with her friends as she enjoyed the surf. 

Earlier, Charli had spent some time on the shore, oiled up with sunscreen and wearing her hair in a top knot. 

She looked out at the conditions in the surf while shielding her eyes with sunglasses, before tentatively wading in. 

The singer and her posse had laid out towels on the sand, but spent a good deal of time in the water. 

Charli has just completed gigs in Sydney and Brisbane, and will be performing more shows in a few days. 

She will be in Melbourne for Valentine's Day before shows in Adelaide on February 15 and Perth on February 16. 

The singer and her fiancé George Daniels are reportedly set to tie the knot in a 'unique style' Italian wedding this summer.

Charli, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, and The 1975 drummer, 34, announced their engagement in November 2023 after dating for over a year.

Now it's believed plans are well and truly in motion for the big day that 'won't be traditional' with a whole host of famous faces on the guest list.

According to The Sun, Charli and George scoped out venues in Italy last summer, after deciding to wed in the country which holds a 'special place' in both their hearts. 

The publication reports that the lavish event will be attended by the likes of George's bandmate Matty Healy, 35, as well as Charli's frequent collaborator Troye Sivan, 29.

A source said: 'Charli and George both love Italy and it holds a special place in their hearts so they decided that's where they want to get married.

'They've found a venue that they think is perfect for their unique style of wedding, which won't exactly be traditional.

'The main aim is to have everyone they love come together and obviously there are plenty of people who are desperate for an invite.'

She announced the news of their engagement Instagram in 2023, captioning her post: 'charli xcx and george f***ing for life!'

She shared a carousel of images. including a romantic snap of George dipping her while the pair shared a kiss.

In another picture, Charli showed off her dazzling diamond engagement ring in a box between two cups of tea.

The pair first sparked dating rumours in March 2022 when they were spotted holding hands on a stroll through New York City.

It comes after Charli had the crowd on its feet when with her raunchy performance the 2025 Grammy Awards.

She started her performance in a long black fur coat and dark sunglasses as she marched in to the Crypto.com Arena's underground cavern.

As she strutted down the driveway, she was flanked by more and more dancers and partygoers, before she took up residence on a square platform and began dancing in circles.

Then she led her mob of followers as she marched out to the main stage and dropped her fur coat to showcase her powder-blue jacket, along with her matching bra top covered in zigzagging decorative embroidery.

Charli flaunted her toned tummy while wearing matching blue panties and a loose belt in the same design that just barely clung to her hips.

The brunette beauty turned around to wiggle her backside around as she sang some of the song's most risqué lyrics about her underwear. 

She got even more revealing as she hit the ground and did the splits for the audience.

Charli won two Grammys in the Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album categories but the wins were not televised.

She earlier admitted her 2025 Grammy nominations success was not something she 'ever expected' after not even being 'on the Grammys' radar last year'.

Following the huge success of her album Brat, which kickstarted the global 'Brat Summer' trend, the hitmaker landed an impressive eight nods at this year's ceremony -  including Album Of The Year, and Record Of The Year for her song 360. 

Speaking in a new interview with W Magazine  she explained: 'My dream scenario would be getting a plus-10 so I could bring all my best friends, but, realistically, I'll probably get a plus-one. Maybe Troye [Sivan] and I can share and make it a plus-two.'

She went on: 'My vibe is just wanting to have a good time. Let's be real, I wasn't even on the Grammys' radar last year, so it's not something I ever expected. 

'The thing is, wherever I am becomes fun anyway, so I'm sure I'll figure it out.'

Charli's 2025 Grammy nominations came after she previously spoke out after her hit album Crash failed to get nominated for a Grammy Award in 2023. 

As the ceremony took place in Los Angeles, Charli took to Instagram to vent her frustrations. 

Sharing a sultry selfie of herself showing off her cleavage in a white dress, she captioned it: 'Me not being nominated for a Grammy for crash is like Mia Goth not being nominated for an Oscar for Pearl and only further proves that people don't wanna see hot evil girls thrive.'

Underneath, her fans flocked to offer her support, with one writing: 'You've won every Grammy in my world.' 

Another added: 'Crash is and will always be everything.'
