After winning the fourth season of "Project Runway", Christian Siriano took the fashion world by storm, dressing celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Ashley Graham, and Billy Porter. The designer is known for incorporating colorful prints and patterns, as well as being size inclusive. And in his latest collection, presented on Friday, Sept. 12, as part of New York Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2026 shows, Siriano expanded on his mastery at elegant craftmanship, a soft departure from his car-inspired fall 2025 presentation.

The star-studded show whose front row boasted the likes of Lizzo, Whoopi Goldberg, and Oprah Winfrey, featured voluminous gowns (which he's widely known for), color galore, and commanding prints that screamed glamour — including this year's polarizing polka dot trend, which is clearly here to stay for next season. Loud accessories like oversized satin hats were also a referential part of each ensemble. "This show was much more lady-like and elegant, and I wanted to convey this idea of glamour and fantasy," he tells Popsugar. "I just really wanted to take everybody out of this crazy world that we are in and be in a dream."

A dream it was indeed, but the real pièce de résistance of the show was particularly noteworthy — a Capri Sun bag. Yes, you read correctly. In collaboration with the nostalgic drink brand, Siriano crafted a limited-edition handbag coined the "Pouch Purse," speaking to the brand's DIY fashion roots. The PVC design features a yellow straw zipper, multicolored chains, and fruit charms, directly paying homage to the pouch's iconic shape.

"I use the blue ChapStick, which is so silly, but I just love it even though everyone makes fun of me," Siriano says. He keeps the ChapStick Moisturizer Original Lip Balm ($4, originally $5), on him at all times.

"I know my clothes are expensive, but I've realized buying other designer clothing really isn't cheap anymore. I bought this really cool jacket from Sarah Burton's new collection for Givenchy and it was so expensive!" he says. The piece in question? The Givenchy Flap-Pocket Leather Jacket ($3,545). "But it's beautiful and I love it." And given its 100 percent calf leather fabrication, we'd purchase this too.

"In the morning, I need my Aveda Dual Action Aftershave ($40). I know it's really silly, but it's actually a moisturizer too, so I use it every single morning," Siriano says. This cream offers long-lasting moisture thanks to its formulation of sunflower and soybean oils, and licorice extract.
