We're all preparing ourselves for the upcoming Prime Day here at TechRadar as a chance to score some autumn savings. But Currys isn't waiting around until next week's Amazon event and is getting in early with its own Epic Deals sale, featuring savings of up to 40% off TVs, laptops, appliances, monitors, tablets, and more. I've searched through the sale and picked out 14 standout deals worth shopping today.

My personal recommendations include this Asus Vivobook S16 OLED for £699 (was £999). It's a fantastic price for a powerful and modern laptop that sports an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, a large 1TB SSD for storage, and a sharp 16-inch OLED display. That's everything you'd want in a brilliant premium laptop for anything you want to throw at it – outside of gaming.

Other highlights include deals on TVs from Hisense, LG, and Samsung from £94.99, big price cuts of up to £500 off major appliances, and this Dyson V8 with a mountain of accessories for £249 (was £399.99).

Check out all of my top picks from the Currys Epic Deals sale below. The retailer hasn't announced when the event ends, but it'll likely run through into at least next week to coincide with the second Prime Day of the year from Oct 7 - 8.
