Every new Netflix TV show in November 2025, including Stranger Things and Squid Game: The Challenge

RIP my couch, because I'm not leaving it this November thanks to all the new shows coming to Netflix this month.

It's no secret that we've got some big hitters coming, but let's not gloss over the smaller stuff. Even though I'm 30, I cannot wait for the new season of Sesame Street to hit the streamer mid-month – sometimes, all you need is a positive affirmation from Elmo.

Of course, we can't ignore the fact that after what feels like a million years, Stranger Things season 5 is a few short weeks away from starting. We won't be seeing all episodes this month – just the first of three batches – but that only prolongs the excitement.

But my three top picks for TV shows on Netflix this month go beyond Vecna coming back. In fact, I've got my eye on all things reality TV too.

Squid Game: The Challenge season 2

Alongside Prime Video's 007: Road to a Million, Squid Game: The Challenge is easily my favorite competition show in the last decade. Season 1 had perfect attention to detail and genuinely jaw-dropping drama, and I'm expecting more of the same in season 2.

Because this is Squid Game, I don't think we can expect new episodes to follow in exactly the same footsteps as the first season. Think new games, new ultimatums and shock exits. They're all still competing for $4.56 million, which is the largest prize pot in US reality TV show history.

Season 1 contestants Leanne and Trey, the mother and son duo who were genuinely brilliant game players, were my favorites. I'll be hoping for more family dynamics to pick up where they left off, and get further than the ill-fated marble game.

Selling the OC season 4

Totally switching gears is the fourth season of Selling the OC, filling the Selling Sunset-shaped hole now that season 9 of the latter is out.

We're anticipating a big cast shakeup this time around, with new faces set to join the Orange County office. That doesn't mean old rivalries still aren't running amok, with rumors threatening to bring all that hard work crashing down around the team.

“A lot has changed in the real lives of those agents since Season 3, so it’s exciting to get back down there,” series creator Adam DiVello told Netflix. But are the OG's going to let the newbies thrive? I'm hoping not (in the best possible way).

Stranger Things season 5: volume 1

Here we go, the big cahuna! I feel like I've aged about three decades since Stranger Things was last on our screen, and the season 5 release is being dragged out for equally as long.

This month, we're getting episodes 1-4, with the remaining four episodes being released at the end of December. But don't worry too much – all eight episodes have mammoth runtimes, so are basically feature films in their own right.

In a nutshell, we're expecting to see the Hawkins gang try and kill Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) for good. However, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is being forced back into hiding, while the anniversary of Will's (Noah Byers) disappearance looms. It's only the full team together than can make it all better, but will they be able to?
