If you've lost the appreciation for Advent calendars, there's an easy way to put some kick back into the concept. Flaviar's Whiskey Advent is consistently one of my favorite December traditions, and I got a firsthand look at this year's high-flying edition.
With its 2025 Whiskey Advent Calendar, Flaviar's premium tasting is soaring to new heights. This holiday season, my perennial favorite is reimagining the tradition with a vintage aviation theme that pays homage to the glamorous golden age of air travel, accompanied by 24 vials of premium liquor to ease you into the holiday.
The limited-edition calendar, presented in packaging designed to resemble a miniature luxury suitcase, contains 24 distinct whiskey samples, each housed in a 50-milliliter vial and representing a different distillery/destination. FlaviarThe calendar costs $270. Preorders are now open, with purchases made this week guaranteed to arrive before the Thanksgiving holiday. Bulk purchase discounts are available for customers ordering multiple units. According to Flaviar, previous editions have consistently sold out during the holiday season.
