Looking for a way to save big on indie and triple-A game titles? Are you tired of buying games through corporate storefronts like Steam and EA? Right now at Humble Bundle, you can get your first month of a Humble Choice membership for just $7. That's a 42% discount on a rewards program that does more than just give you access to exclusive discounts and game demos: Each month, 5% of your membership payment goes toward helping one of thousands of charity partners that work with Humble Bundle to support education programs, disaster relief efforts, and access to food and clean water.

ZDNET is owned by the same parent company as Humble Bundle; however this deal has been selected independently by our shopping experts for its value.

Humble offers several purchase price suggestions, with several tiers to choose from that unlock different content configurations (the lowest purchase price will only give you access to half the bundle's contents). You can also input a custom price, giving you a little wiggle room if you're building a game library on a budget. And no, you can't input a price that's below the minimum suggestion threshold (I checked).

Each bundle purchase supports a different featured charity, though many will also allow you to choose from a list of thousands of affiliated programs to support local-to-you (or at least as local as you're able to get) nonprofits. Each bundle's store page also gives you information on how many bundles have been sold and what the average purchase price is, allowing you to make a more informed decision about offering a price that feels fair.

Along with access to exclusive discounts up to 20% in the Humble store, Humble Choice members also get access to the Humble Vault, a collection of over 50 DRM-free indie and experimental titles. If you're ever feeling generous, Choice members can opt to pay full price for a standalone title and convert the 20% discount into a bonus donation to charity. And with flexible subscription options, you can skip a month, or as many as you need if your budget is looking lean, or cancel your account at any time.

In 2024 alone, Humble Bundle raised over $12 million to support 4,500 charities. And since its inception in 2020, Humble has raised an impressive $266 million for non-profit programs that promote literacy, provide legal defense funds to marginalized people, and provide scholarships to boost diversity and equity in the games industry.

To get a Humble Choice account, you'll have to create a general account for Humble Bundle if you don't have one already. If you do, you'll be able to opt into the Humble Choice rewards program via your account and profile options. The first month will be billed at $7, and each month after that will be billed at $12 unless you skip or cancel.

How I rated this deal

On the surface, a $4 discount on an already fairly affordable rewards membership isn't all that enticing. But the perks, and warm-fuzzy feelings, that come with a Humble Choice membership make it more than worth it. Along with discounts up to 20% in the Humble Bundle store and access to the Humble Vault, 5% of your membership fee goes to support thousands of charities. Each purchase of a Humble game, book, or software bundle goes toward supporting a featured charity or a nonprofit of your choice. And Humble's bundles use a pay-what-you-want model that allows you to get a host of games at steep discounts while also supporting communities across the globe.
