Watch Laver Cup 2025 live streams as Team Europe take on Team World in an invitational team tennis tournament that has vibes like golf's Ryder Cup. There are three days of action beginning Friday, September 19 and running through to Sunday, September 21, with three singles matches and a doubles on court each day.

This is the eighth edition of the Laver Cup, first dreamed up Roger Federer in 2017 and named after tennis great Rod Laver. Held this year at Chase Center, San Francisco, it sees the best players Europe and the Rest of the World have to offer duke it out to be planet's best team.

Team Europe can count new world number one Carlos Alcaraz as their star man, the Spaniard having won his sixth major recently at the US Open. He'll be joined by world number three Alexander Zverev, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medallist, plus Casper Ruud who will appear in his fifth successive edition of the tournament. There will be a new captain this year as Yannick Noah takes the reins, with Bjorn Borg sitting out.

Team World have Americans Taylor Fritz, Alex Michelsen and Reilly Opelka among their number, after Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe pulled out with injury. Fritz is enjoying a fine season and is ranked fifth in the world. They also count rising star Joao Fonseca among their team, plus world number eight Alex De Minaur from Australia. Andre Agassi takes over from John McEnroe as captain.

There will be nine singles and three doubles matches over three days – two singles and one doubles per day – to reach the magic 13-point mark for a victory. Each match is best of three sets, with a 10-point tiebreak for the decider if required.

Every player must take to the court in at least one singles match during the first two days, while remembering no individual player can play in more than two singles overall.
