Kevin Costner and Pete Davidson's Super Bowl 2025 bromance has NFL fans all saying the same thing

Super Bowl 2025 boasted a star-studded lineup, but none had fans buzzing quite like Kevin Costner and Pete Davidson.

The Oscar-winning actor, 70, and the 31-year-old Saturday Night Live alum were spotted sitting together at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans to watch Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Having been seen hanging out the night before at Michael Rubin's 2025 Fanatics Super Bowl Party, the unexpected duo continued their camaraderie as they enjoyed the game together.

Before the kick-off, the actor and comedian had a chance to walk the football field, then took their seats side by side, sending social media into a frenzy.

The bromance took most by surprise, with one person writing, 'Everyone at our superbowl party did a double take,' and another simply stating, 'It's the most random celebrity pair sighting.'    

Yet another fan added, 'Kevin Costner hanging out with Pete Davidson was definitely NOT on my Super Bowl bingo card.'

Naturally, others couldn't resist bringing up Pete's famous dating history, including his past romances with Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and more. 

'Pete Davidson and Kevin Costner? Jesus. That guy can date anyone he wants. #SuperBowlLIX,' joked a fan.

One even made light of their age difference, humorously imagining them as if on a family outing, writing, 'I told you I don’t like football, Dad.' ‘Well, your mom said I had to bring you.’

Another fan couldn't help but tie in Costner's role in Yellowstone, posting, 'I’m fascinated to know what Kevin Costner and Pete Davidson are discussing. Hopefully, Davidson is letting him know how much he F’d Yellowstone.'

The Chiefs' famous fans include Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle, Heidi Gardner, Jason Sudeikis, Henry Cavill, Henry Winkler and David Koechner. 

Musicians Melissa Etheridge and Tech N9ne have each created songs for their team.

Meanwhile, the Eagles boast a starry roster of superfans such as Bradley Cooper, Will Smith, Kevin Hart, Miles Teller, Pink, Questlove and Meek Mill. 

Taylor Swift and her star-studded entourage also stole a bit of the spotlight. 

The pop icon claimed a luxurious lodge at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where she was all in to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

With her in the VIP section was her iconic girl squad, including her close friends from the night before, the Haim sisters—Alana. Este and Danielle —who helped take over a restaurant for a memorable girls' night out.

Also enjoying the game was Taylor's newest collaborator and BFF Ice Spice, who was spotted chatting with Taylor’s brother Austin and their dad Scott.

Travis’s family had their own star-studded crew in the ultra-exclusive VIP area, with his dad Ed and mom Donna joined by her other son Jason and his wife Kylie. 

Stylist and social media influencer Ashley Avignone was also in the mix, as well as Taylor’s longtime friend, Ross Travis, making it a night to remember for all involved.
