We talk about Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) a lot when it comes to Landman season 2, and rightfully so. He spends the majority of the hit Paramount+ show tearing his own hair own, whether that's through uncovering new issues at M-Tex or wife Angela (Ali Larter) and daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) driving him around the bend.
In my opinion, we don't talk enough about Cami (Demi Moore). She's stepped up as the new owner of M-Tex after the death of her husband, Monty (Jon Hamm), at the end of season 1, and as soon as she did, she let her rivals know that she wasn't here to play.
Sorry guys — Demi Moore won't star opposite Pilaf the dog in future Landman episodes

Every powerful woman should have a small dog she can fit into her handbag... just look at Elle Woods. Moore knows this better than most, and her dog Pilaf has become a celebrity all on her own. Put two and two together, and it makes perfect sense for Cami and Pilaf to be an onscreen partnership too (well, at least it does to me).
"If she wasn't such a superstar, then she could have been on it," Moore tells me about Pilaf. "But she's so well known now... I don't think it can happen."
You only have to look at Pilaf's Instagram page to know this is true. She's been on the cover of Dogue (that's the dog version of Vogue), been a guest on multiple US chat shows, and even made an appearance at Cannes Film Festival for The Substance. Basically, it's her world, and we're just living in it.
While a canine companion could have given Cami some light relief, the last few episodes of Landman season 2 are going to be hell on Earth for her. But just how far that goes is something that even Moore herself doesn't know.
"I knew in particular that it was really the setup was all about the second season," she tells me about joining in season 1. "I knew that I was the 'Where's Waldo' of the first season, but it was all set up for that purpose. I had no idea how it was going to unfold or what it was going to look like. Just the loose general idea. But I don't know any more beyond where we are right now. I'm as in the dark as everybody else."
