Married At First Sight bride Jamie Marinos has given candid details of her relationship with Dave Hand, her fiery clash with series villain Tim Gromie, and whether her co-stars are actually looking for love - or just fame.

While some MAFS couples threw themselves into the physical side of their relationships during Intimacy Week, Jamie and Dave took things at their own pace.

'We were only like a week into having sex at that point. We did wait to get to know each other,' she told Daily Mail Australia.

Despite the slow start, their chemistry was undeniable.

'Me and Dave were both very adamant to build an emotional connection and get to know each other first,' she explained.

But the 28-year-old marketing manager could not resist slipping in a cheeky remark when asked about how things were going in the bedroom.

Married At First Sight's outspoken bride Jamie Marinos has opened up about her relationship with Dave Hand, her fiery clash with villain Tim Gromie, and whether her co-stars are actually looking for love - or just fame

Despite the slow start, Jamie told Daily Mail Australia that their chemistry was undeniable

'The job got done. Everyone was happy at the end of it,' she quipped.

It's clear that Jamie and Dave are one of the season's strongest pairings as many other marriages quickly crumbled.

Jamie has made a name for herself as one of the most outspoken brides in the experiment, and her dinner party showdown with Tim Gromie was no exception.

'Dinner party last week, I went all out, came for bloody Tim,' she declared.

While their confrontation received plenty of air time, Jamie revealed that it was Dave who took the lead, confronting Tim for making inappropriate remarks about his bride Katie Johnstone.

'It was definitely on Dave to bring it up and confront it. Because there were comments that were made that did not sit well with him,' she explained.

And while Jamie relished a fiery debate, she said watching Dave take a stand was a proud moment for her.

'Me and Dave were both very adamant to build an emotional connection and get to know each other first,' she explained

While Tim was the focus of last week's drama, groom Ryan Donnelly (pictured) hasn't exactly been flying under the radar

'It was nice to see Dave stand up and defend women. That's obviously something that's very attractive,' she said.

Jamie explained that viewers will get to see her 'TikTok' tradie husband Dave take charge this week.

'It was very weird for me to be the one that was demure and sitting in a chair next to my husband, who was obviously the fire of the night,' she confessed.

The tables had well and truly turned, leaving Jamie wondering what to do with herself.

'I was like, that's my role, so what the hell do I do?' she laughed.

Jamie that change in roles came as she and Dave found a balance in their personalities that works best in the relationship.

'I'm the pocket rocket, you be my calming boy,' she joked.

Since Tim's departure, groom Ryan has emerged as the new villain of the peace after making public some very private details of his sex life with Jacqui.

Jamie, never one to sugarcoat things, admitted that there's a mix of intentions for signing up tot he show. 'Unfortunately, the power of social media and knowing how advantageous it is to go on reality television… you're going to get a mixed bag,' she said

Jamie said she 'can't give too much' detail on how that plays out.

However, she strongly hinted that viewers will see more of his questionable behaviour play out on screen.

'You can't edit those words into their mouth. I've seen the live show, and they are just full of absolute beauties,' she revealed.

It looks like there's plenty more drama to come from Ryan - and Jamie, as always, won't be afraid to call it out.

With every season of MAFS, the same question is asked - are contestants actually looking for love, or just chasing fame?

Jamie acknowledged that there's mixed motivations.

'Unfortunately, the power of social media and knowing how advantageous it is to go on reality television… you're going to get a mixed bag,' she said.

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine

However, she insisted that she came in with genuine intentions to find a man.

'I honestly came on thinking I'm going to have it all. That's the mentality I had,' she revealed.

For Jamie, finding love wasn't just a possibility - it was a priority.

'I wanted to have babies yesterday, so I thought, why not take that risk and walk out with the man that is going to be the father of my children?' she admitted.
