President Trump took to Truth Social to react to Taylor Swift getting booed at Super Bowl LIX as she cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
President Donald Trump Mocks Taylor Swift for Getting Booed at Super Bowl 2025
Taylor Swift may have shaken off her haters at the 2025 Super Bowl but the moment is continuing to make waves.
Indeed, President Donald Trump reacted to the singer getting booed at the Feb. 9 game as a camera panned to her watching her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Philadelphia Eagles. And he didn't have much sympathy for the "Willow" singer.
"The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift," Trump—who became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl—wrote on his social media platform Truth Social the night of the big game in New Orleans. "She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"
Meanwhile, Swift seemed to laugh off the icy response. After the jumbotron at Caesars Superdome showed Adam Sandler sitting next to Paul Rudd, it cut to a shot of the "All Too Well" singer sitting with Ice Spice as the crowd audibly booed. Taylor got wide eyed and looked sharply at her "Karma" collaborator before they both appeared to laugh off the moment.
Trump's callout of Taylor isn't the first time that he's been critical of the singer.
When she endorsed then-Vice President Kamala Harris for president back in September via a lengthy statement—which included that she'd recently seen AI photos of herself falsely endorsing Trump in the 2024 election—the then-candidate took a moment to praise Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

"Well I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better," Trump said on Fox News Sept. 11. "If you want to know the truth. She's a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. You couldn't possibly endorse [Joe] Biden. But she's a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace."
"But I like Brittany," he continued. "I think Brittany is great. She's a big MAGA fan. She's the one I like much better than Taylor Swift. Wife of the great quarterback. I think she's terrific."
A few days later, he went even further by posting "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on Truth Social.

As for Travis, the Chiefs' tight end said that it was "awesome" that Trump would make history by attending this year's Super Bowl.
"It's a great honor," he explained. "I think no matter who the president is, I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life, and having the president there, it's the best country in the world, so it'd be pretty cool."
