Less than a month out from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and Paramount is fully spinning up the marketing machine. Tickets go on sale on Monday, April 28, and there’s a new series of character posters featuring the film’s main and supporting players.
In addition to Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt—hanging off the side of a biplane, as he tends to do—there are posters for Benji, Luther, Grace, Degas, Paris, Gabriel, and Briggs, all returning from Dead Reckoning (née Part One). There are also posters for new characters introduced in Final Reckoning, such as Trammell Tillman’s Bledsoe, Hannah Waddingham’s Neely, and Nick Offerman’s Joint Chief Chairman Sydney. Finally, two returning faces from Missions past: Angela Bassett’s Erika Sloane (from Fallout) and Rolf Saxon’s William Donloe (Mission 1).
Currently, Mission: Impossible fans can head to an exhibit at New York’s Museum of the Moving Image to look back on some of the franchise’s biggest and best stunts. Sadly, it might be the closest thing yet to revisiting the prior movies on the big screen, something Paramount’s seemingly not doing. You’ll have to prepare for Final on your own time, and speaking of: ComicBook recently learned that Final Reckoning will be two hours and 49 minutes long, making it the longest Mission movie to date. Keep that in mind as you’re grabbing snacks.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning hits theaters on May 23.
