Electric toothbrushes have plenty of advantages, but they're pricier than your average drugstore handheld toothbrush. That said, you can snag a great deal and a basic model right now, with this Oral-B iO2 Electric Toothbrush for as low as $54.99 (was $70.99).

If you clicked the link right away, you may have noticed that the sale price is actually $59.99 and not $54.99. You need to click the checkbox beside "Apply $5 coupon" to get the true total. Note: The lowest price only applies to the black toothbrush and not the white one.

Today's best electric toothbrush deal

The Oral-B iO Electric Toothbrush has evolved over the years, growing more expensive with every upgrade. The Oral-B iO 2 is eight generations behind the current one, but it still offers everything you would need in a beginner brush.

It's meant for someone just looking for a cheap electric toothbrush, before they start having preferences on how firm the bristles are, the kinds of settings they have, and other things that newer electric toothbrushes make you think about.

It offers three cleaning modes, including Super Sensitive, Gentle Clean, and Daily Clean. It also has a built-in timer, so that you can easily understand when you've brushed your teeth for the recommended two minutes per session.

Oral-B iO electric toothbrushes come with a charger where you can set down your device between brushes and a carrying case for when you need to take it with you on the go. You need extra brush heads to replace old ones when they eventually get worn out, but that's the case with almost every electric toothbrush out there.
