Historically, Black Friday has been a good time for iPad deals - and this year is no different. Right now, you can buy the Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M3) at a record low price in both the US and UK. The Apple iPad Air 11-inch at Amazon US is $449 (was $599) while in the UK, the Apple iPad Air 11-inch is £499 (was £599).

Previously, the Apple tablet had dropped to about $500 in the US, but it’s never gone as low as this before. In the UK, the price has dipped to around £550, so again, we’re talking a hefty price drop here too.

This is the latest model of the Apple iPad Air, which means it includes the powerful M3 chip you ordinarily see in many MacBooks. It has a Liquid Retina display, which looks beautiful, while there’s 128GB of storage, a 12MP front camera, Touch ID support, and an all-around great experience whether relaxing or working.

Today’s best iPad Air deal

Our Apple iPad Air 11-inch review gave it a remarkable 4.5 stars out of five describing it as “familiar looks with way more speed." Its “M3 chip provides plenty of power” while there’s a “vibrant screen” and ‘strong battery life and audio.”

There’s no major change here from the previous model, but that’s because it’s not really needed. We placed the iPad Air in our look at the best tablets as the best gaming option, but overall, it’s good for pretty much everything. Understandably, it ranks highly in our look at the best iPads, too.

This is the time of year for great tablet deals. There are some fantastic Black Friday tablet deals around and arguably, you can’t go wrong with snapping up an iPad of any denomination. The iPad Air is certainly tempting me.
