I travel a lot for work, commuting daily to the office and covering conferences and news events across the country. Regardless of the tech and additional accessories I bring, one thing always stays in my backpack -- the Anker Nano Charger. The device's size and price make it the perfect charging staple, and for a limited time, you can stock up with a 19% discount, making the charger only $13.

Be aware that this deal applies only to the Anker Nano Charger in Aurora White and Phantom Black. The Lilac Purple, Misty Blue, and Natural Green color options are slightly more expensive at $15 each.

The biggest selling point of this charger is its size. When I let other people use this charger to juice their phones, they are shocked at how fast their tech powers up. That speed comes from the charger's surprisingly high power output. Despite being almost the same size as the standard Apple 5W charger, the Anker Nano Charger leverages GaN technology to deliver up to 30W of power.

For context, that power is the same amount of watts as the much bulkier Apple 30W charger used to charge MacBook Air laptops. Beyond the charger's compact size, there's also a nifty foldable plug, making the cube easier to toss in a bag without worrying about damaging prongs.

I first got this charger in the fall of 2022, and despite testing many other charging accessories, its simplicity and efficiency have kept it a staple in my rotation. I always leave this charger in my work backpack because, even if I forget the other chargers I need, this one has enough juice to get me through the day, no matter what devices I bring with me, and it doesn't weigh down my bag.

Whether you are looking for a new charger, know someone whose devices are always dying, or even thinking far into the future, dare I say, stocking stuffers, the Anker Nano Charger is a great buy at any time of the year. I do urge you to act fast because this deal will only be around for a limited time.

How I rated this deal

The best deals allow you to save money on essentials or products you already plan to buy. The Anker Nano Charger falls perfectly into that category because if you own any devices at all, you'll need a wall charger, and this one is practical and effective. For those reasons, I gave the charger a 2/5 Editor's Deal rating as per ZDNET's rating system. I'm considering purchasing another one even though I already have plenty of chargers in my drawer.
