It may not be the fastest router around but TP-Link’s Archer AX55 is tiny with excellent range and it has one of the lowest price tags we’ve seen for a Wi-Fi 6 router.

TP-Link Archer AX55 ticks all the right boxes regarding features and performance, especially on the 5 GHz band, where it delivers excellent Wi-Fi coverage and speed. This router also makes it easy to extend your network using other TP-Link devices compatible with OneMesh, as well as routers from TP-Link or other brands compatible with the new Wi-Fi EasyMesh standard. However, keep in mind that the uploads can be slow on the 2.4 GHz band.

If you are interested in an above-average WiFi router with good parental controls and strong 2.4 GHz performance but don't want to shell out the money for a more expensive router, then the TP-Link Archer AX55 is a safe bet and a great value.

Overall, the value of the TP-Link Archer AX55 is great. Sitting in the mid-range territory it compares well to other models such as the ASUS RT-AX3000. The biggest drawback of the value is that you need to pay for some of the extra features and protection in the form of HomeCare.

TP-Link new Archer AX55 is a huge improvement over the Archer AX50 it replaces. It is more refined thanks to the new Qualcomm SoC which resulted in greatly improved stability. While WiFi performance is largely similar, the consistency is miles ahead of the previous AX3000 router from TP-Link.

The TP-Link Archer AX3000 Pro is a solid choice for improving home Wi-Fi. With fast Wi-Fi 6 speeds, it handles streaming, gaming, and multiple devices with ease. It offers good coverage for small to medium-sized homes, ensuring a strong signal in every room. The setup is straightforward, thanks to the TP-Link Tether app, making it user-friendly even for non-techies. While it might struggle with heavy usage across many devices, it’s reliable for everyday tasks. Priced reasonably, the Archer AX3000 Pro offers great value and is a worthwhile upgrade for most home networks.
