I'm as cynical about Black Friday deals as the next savvy shopper, but there's a reason I always wait for this time of year before buying headphones and earbuds: it's saved me a fortune over the years, because there are always good discounts on big-name brands – such as Sony, whose headphones and earbuds are being discounted by often dramatic price cuts this year.
There are lots of deals here, but the ones that have particularly caught my eye are the new WF-C710N earbuds going for just $79 in the US and £74.99 in the UK, a surprisingly early discount, and the evergreen WH-1000XM5 – among our favorite ANC over-ears – for just $248 in the US and £199 in the UK. Those are great prices on genuinely great earbuds and headphones – and if you're on a tight budget you can get a pair of Sonys for less than $40 in the US and £31 in the UK.
